Dallas is everything that is Texas and American, with mouth-watering BBQ and the Cowboys football team. However, there is also a thriving arts community that is also worth checking out. You’ll see a completely different side of Texas in Austin. There is a thriving music community with hundreds of venues to check out. Take a tour of the state capital. Or dip your toes in the cool waters of the spring-fed Barton Springs Pool.

2. Miami to Key West, FL

Cruise down US 1 as you make your way from Miami to Key West, Florida. If you don’t have a lot of time, this is the perfect road trip to embrace the coming summer weather. This long two-lane highway makes its way of crystal blue waters as you hop from one island to the next. Stop at the unique little towns along the way. There are also plenty of white sand beaches to lay out and soak up the sun. At the end of your journey, you are rewarded with the colorful and lively Key West. Visit the southmost point, Mallory Square, Duval Street, Hemingway’s house, and the shipwreck diving museum. Take the ghost tour at night. Then have your fill of delicious food and drinks.

3. Blue Ridge Parkway

4. Salt Lake City to Yellowstone

Visiting Salt Lake City in the spring is perfect because you have a range of things to do. First, if winter weather sticks around late into the year, you can enjoy a range of winter outdoor sports. If the weather warms and the snow melts, you can enjoy the parks, museums, and local bicycle tours. Once you explore Salt Lake, adventure awaits in Yellowstone. 6. Las Vegas, NV to Yosemite, CA
